A cancer diagnosis changes everything. The last thing you should worry about is mounting debt. That’s why HealthShare Credit Union is has new member support program designed to give you breathing room during a qualifying medical hardship.
COURAGE THROUGH CANCER PAYMENT RELIEF PROGRAM
- No payments on your current loan for a period of six months with no interest.
- Renew this 0% interest and no payment period for an additional six (6) months if the you are still undergoing active cancer treatment or is within six (6) months of completing active treatment of cancer up to 12 months.*
- Your membership must have been open for at least 1 year to be eligible
- The loan being modified must have been open for at least six (6) months prior to seeking participation in the program.
- You cannot take on any additional debt with us or others during the 0% interest and $0 payment period without permission from the Credit Union.
- Line Of Credit limits will be removed during the modification period.
- All the loans under this program will be reported as Modified to the credit bureaus
- First mortgage loans, credit cards, and Quick Cash loans are not eligible for modification.
- Once the loan goes into repayment, all normal payment and collections guidelines will apply
